Medicare Referrals:

To be eligible for a Medicare rebate, a referral from your doctor to Adelaide Psychology along with your GP Mental Health Treatment Plan will be needed. Your doctor will generally fax this to us on your behalf.

Therapy Considerations: 

If you are looking to begin therapy, commitment to regular sessions — typically weekly or fortnightly over an initial course of sessions tends to be most beneficial in supporting meaningful and sustained progress.

Not all psychological presentations or treatment approaches are suitable for Telehealth. The appropriateness of online therapy will be considered during the intake process to ensure the most suitable service is provided.

Limited concession appointments are currently available for Medicare-referred clients, reducing the out-of-pocket/gap fee per session. Please ask reception. Limited spots available. 

Non-Attendance / Late Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. This will give others in need an opportunity to attend. If you cannot attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.

Non-Attendance/Late Cancellation Policy: Appointments that are missed, forgotten, cancelled or changed within 24 hours incur a full cancellation fee. We appreciate your understanding.
