Medicare Referrals:
To be eligible for a Medicare rebate, a referral from your doctor made out to Adelaide Psychology along with your GP Mental Health Care Plan will be needed. Your doctor will generally fax this to us on your behalf.
Therapy Considerations:Â
If you are looking to begin the therapeutic process, commitment to regular sessions —typically weekly or fortnightly over an initial course of sessions tends to be most beneficial in supporting meaningful and sustained progress.
Not all psychological presentations or treatment approaches are suitable for Telehealth. The appropriateness of online therapy will be considered during the intake process to ensure the most suitable and effective service is provided.

Limited concession appointments are currently available for Medicare-referred clients, reducing the fee to $188.95 per session (gap fee $90) (current as of June 2026). Eligibility applies if you are a student, pensioner, healthcare card holder, unemployed or on low income. Please ask reception. Limited spots available.Â
Non-Attendance / Late Cancellations
We require at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. This will give others in need an opportunity to attend. If you cannot attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
Non-Attendance/Late Cancellation Policy: Appointments that are missed, forgotten, cancelled or changed within 24 hours incur a full cancellation fee. We appreciate your understanding.
